1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using The Old Photo Studio (available at restore.idphoto.studio), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. User Representations and Photo Rights
By uploading any image to our service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You own the copyright or have obtained all necessary permissions from the copyright holder and any individuals depicted in the photographs.
- The content is not unlawful, defamatory, non-consensual explicit material, or intended for deceptive impersonation.
3. Nature of AI Restorations (EU AI Act Disclosure)
Pursuant to transparency standards (including Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 - EU AI Act), please note that our services utilize artificial intelligence algorithms to repair damages, colorize monochrome imagery, and synthesize composites (such as AI Hug).
Outputs represent artistic reconstructions and plausible interpretations of historical photographs, not forensic or certified historical records. Original true colors cannot be guaranteed with forensic precision.
4. 7-Day Full Refund Policy
We stand behind the quality of our service. If you are not completely satisfied with your unlocked photo restoration, or if you changed your mind for any reason within 7 calendar days of purchase:
- How to Request: Simply send an email to [email protected] with your order ID or the email address used at checkout.
- No Hassle: No interrogation or hidden fees. We will promptly issue a full refund.
- Processing Timeline: Refunds are processed immediately through our payment partner (Creem.io) and typically reflect on your bank/card statement within 3 to 5 business days.
- Consumer Rights Compliance: This policy satisfies and exceeds statutory right-of-withdrawal requirements under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Brazil Consumer Defense Code (CDC Art. 49).
5. Pricing & No Subscription Promise
All purchases are strictly one-time transactions (pay-as-you-go) at $3.99 for a single photo restoration or $9.99 for a 10-photo album pack ($1.00 per photo). We do not enroll users in weekly, monthly, or recurring subscriptions. Unused multi-photo pack credits do not expire.
6. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. You are encouraged to maintain independent backups of all original family scans before uploading. In no event shall The Old Photo Studio be liable for indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from image processing.
